The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK) and the Universities of Alicante (Spain) and Saarland (Germany) jointly organised this new edition of the DIES-International Deans’ Course for Latin America that has just been started today, Monday, 23rd November 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Module 1 and Module 2 are being taught on-line.

 

Congratulations to those twenty-five high-profile Latinamerican deans who were carefully selected by our selection pannel to be part of the intensive course on higher education management and internationalisation.
We will be happy to join all of you next Monday, 23rd November for the Module 1.

Our selection panel, composed of high-profile higher education management experts, is currently scrutinizing every application to fairly select the 25 most suitable candidatures.

Prof. Monica Alatorre, Dean - Hospitality and Tourism School at Universidad de Las Américas, Ecuador is talking about negotiation strategies and conflict resolution applied to academic management. 

Professor Jose Vicente Cabezuelo, Director of Campus Iberoamericano at the University of Alicante, is talking about Diversity management.

The original deadline for DIES IDC Latin America 2020/21 was this week, but given that many of us have had lots of unexpected changes to our schedules over the last week due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have decided to extend the deadline by two weeks. If you’ve been planning to submit your form for the course this week, please feel free to take this additional time. The new deadline for the call is 15 April 2020 at 12:00pm.
