22 Deans of Central and Latin American Higher Education Institutions attended this 5-day course to develop and improve their competence in Quality Management, Research Management, Human Resources Management and Strategic Planning.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK) and the Universities of Alicante (Spain) and Saarland (Germany)  jointly organised the DIES-International Deans’ Course for Latin America.

Twenty-three deans from Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama and Peru are attending the edition 2014/25.

After five hard-working days in Cartagena de Indias, the Module 3 of the International Deans Course Latin America organized by the University of Alicante and the University of Saarland is finished.

All of the participants, 22 deans from Latina America and 6 speakers from Spain and Germany, went back home not only with profitable expertise but also delightful memories.

The IDC2013/2014 webinars successfully ended  last week. During the last 10 weeks, the 22 deans course members attended webinars taught by Latin American and European experts covering the following topics: Quality Management, Research Management, Financial Management, University - Industry Cooperation, Strategic Planning, Internationalization and Human Resources Management.
